BREEDING STOCKS
These stocks are built with steel posts, sheet metal rear and solid oak flooring. They can be
used free standing and moved around, or set in place with a shallow layer of dirt over the
boards for horses that might be more particular about walking on the wood.  Overall outside
measurments are 35 inches wide and 9 feet long.
They are very versitile.  We use ours for wash rack, vet exams and breeding.  They are 30
inches wide which has been plenty big to handle our fox trotters.  I use them for my equine
chiropractic work and have had race horses and quarter horses in them with no problems.  The
moveable front bar allows you to squeeze the horse to the back after the stocks are closed.  If
you raise larger horses, the width could be adjusted for additional price.   Pick up price at our
facility in northwestern Missouri is $750.  Shipping is now available.  You will not find better
stocks at twice the price.  Call 660-778-3460, ask for Dave.
These pictures are of our initial prototype.  The corner angles at the bottom have been
removed and the rear is now a solid steel rolled plate.  The entire side is hinged and swings out
to allow the horse to enter and then be squeezed into place.
